Three Minute Eggs is a meditation on time and death over breakfast.
The film was inspired by the filmmaker’s struggle with chronic illness, and how one’s perception of time can be shaped by a profound or life-altering experience. It was filmed on a smartphone with a shoestring budget in Madrid and Abiquiu, New Mexico, with footage contributed by Jeanne Charlotte-Vogt from Hamburg, Germany. Three Minute Eggs was awarded ‘Best Poetic Film’ at the Madrid Film Festival in Madrid, New Mexico, and is a finalist for the Lichter Art Award at the Lichter Filmfest in Frankfurt, Germany. Three Minute Eggs will be included in the 2019 edition of 'Experiments in Cinema,' an experimental film festival based in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
